Who are we?
The Myasthenia Gravis Association of New England is a devoted Support Group who volunteer their time to help those in our area with MG. We hope to raise public and professional awareness of MG by providing patient services, support group meetings, and outreach.
We are a 501(c)(3) and as such donations are tax deductible.
The support group meets to hear specialists speak and to offer each other wisdom from our own experiences in how to cope with the disease. We have had an MG support group in the region since 1989.
The mission of the MGANE is to improve the quality of life for all people affected by the neuromuscular disease Myasthenia Gravis. This will be accomplished through the raising of public awareness, providing and promoting the education of patients, their families, and healthcare professionals, supporting medical research, and offering the organization’s membership and their families optimal emotional support while dealing with the difficult aspects of the illness.
